Operational Security Directive 1
Concerning Undercover Operatives
Classification: Public
Many members of the Church of Humans remain unaware of their status.
This is normal.
The Church of Humans does not maintain a membership roll and therefore cannot reliably determine who belongs to it.
Membership is generally indicated by repeated attempts to love God and love one's neighbor despite the absence of institutional incentives.
Identification
Church of Humans operatives may be found in any denomination, religion, organization, profession, culture, nation, political party, or social class.
Some may be clergy.
Some may be atheists.
Some may not have heard of the Church of Humans.
This does not prevent membership.
Operational Guidance
Operatives should continue their normal activities.
Do not resign from your congregation.
Do not announce your affiliation.
Do not alter your appearance.
Do not wear identifying insignia.
Do not distribute membership cards.
Do not establish local chapters.
Continue acting as though no organization exists.
This is because none does.
Recruitment
The Church of Humans does not recruit members.
Members are instead discovered after the fact.
Persons who love God and love their neighbors may already be participating in Church of Humans activities without authorization.
Security
If asked whether you are a member of the Church of Humans, you may answer truthfully.
If asked how many members the Church of Humans possesses, answer:
"We do not know."
If asked where the Church of Humans is located, answer:
"We are among you."
Reporting Requirements
There are no reporting requirements.
No activity logs shall be maintained.
No performance reviews shall be conducted.
No compliance metrics shall be recorded.
No audits shall be performed.
No facial-recognition perimeter alerts shall be deployed.
Final Notice
The Church of Humans does not seek to replace any institution.
It merely observes that love occasionally escapes them.
When this occurs, no corrective action is required.
